If you're here, you must be slightly curious about me. I'm a web developer and graphic designer with a passion for learning new things. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California State University, Fresno, as well as years of personal experience in digital media creation. Which includes launching websites, maintaining forums, creating videos, building web apps, making games, illustrating, and building virtual/augmented reality experiences!
It is safe to say that I love all things creative and am always eager to learn something new!
I started majorly investing time in web design in High School as part my virtual enterprise class and began learning Macromedia Flash and early web development in College. This opened me to the field of Graphic Design.
I used what I learned to start building websites, making videos, and other creative digital projects. What started as just for fun became something I loved to do. This led to a YouTube channel with videos and hundreds of subscribers and many fun part-time projects!
I began to learn Graphic Design principals and how to use professional software. Digital media creation became my passion, I loved building websites and creating content. At this time I earned an Assoicate in Science of Graphic Communications from Fresno City College. I knew this was what I wanted to do with my life, so I decided to pursue a four year degree.
I knew for certain Web and Graphic Design were where my passions were. I took my design work to the next level, learning new technologies and skills. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. My main focus being on design for interactivity and futuristic technologies like Virtual and Augmented Reality.
After graduation, I began doing freelance design and web development while I search for the team I can become a part of and use my skills to their fullest! Meanwhile, I'm continuing to teach myself new things, staying up to date on new technologies. With so many new possibilities out there in VR, AR, and more, I can't wait to move forward into the future of design and development.
I am currently the Senior Graphic Designer for JCS Marketing, Inc. I work on monthly print publications, including the leading tree nut publication West Coast Nut and its sister magazines. In addition to the magazines themselves, I've been responsible for designing print and web advertisements for clients, building and maintaining multiple websites, launching new publications, websites, and two successful agriculutre podcasts.
We also host multiple tradeshows and conferences throughout California. With the 2020 pandemic, I was tasked with building and running live online seminars and education.
Needless to say, my time at JCS Marketing has expanded not only my design skills has tested me and helped me develop skills in many different areas.
So what can I do exactly? Here is a list of things I have experience in.
West Coast Nut is the number one monthly Tree Nut publication in California. I work on the design layout for it and it's sister publications, Progressive Crop Consultant, Organic Farmer, and MyAgLife. In addition to the magazines I also work on all the websites, email campaigns, podcasts, advertisements, and much much more!
This web app will let you check your dogecoin balance by scanning your QR code. It will also allow you check the current conversion rate in any currency. Finally, just for fun, it allows you to see your balance in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
This web app's purpose was to plant a virtual tree in memory of someone. It would start as a seed and grow into a tree over time. The tree would be saved to the database and could be visited any time.
This customized Wordpress Theme features a functioning WebVR hero background as the home page. The website itself showcased some early WebVR content and the beginning of what the future web might look like.
This original animated short follows the main character's battle within himself to overcome grief. Created with Flash, After Effects and Premiere as well as featuring an original soundtrack.
Bears Love Potatoes is a storefront for an etsy shop. It's main business being virtual greeting card website, letting users see animated versions of their physical greeting cards.

Anyox Inc. is a Wordpress website designed to be industrial and straight to the point.
An animated short story about a little hen's adventure to deliver a letter. The original artwork was created in Illustrator and animated in After Effects.
This was a UI/UX mockup app created with Gravit Designer.
The object of this mobile game is to go as far as you can without getting hit! All the assets were made in Illustrator.
